THE Plaza

Located directly in front of our Event Center, the 40,000 sq. ft. plaza offers a unique opportunity for outdoor festivities. The plaza has the capability to hold up to 2,000 guests, allowing for endless event possibilities.

Selfridge Air National Guard held an event to support their STEAM Expo. STEAM education is essential for preparing our youth for the challenges of the 21st century, and Selfridge hopes to use these events as an opportunity to showcase the positive impact that STEAM can have on young people.

U CAN-CER VIVE Dreamy Evening for the Cure on Friday, June 2, 2023, honors and recognizes individuals who are making a difference and an impact in the community and in the world of cancer.

Each year at M1 Concourse, we hold the Checkered Flag Challenge Ball, a fundraiser that benefits M1 Concourse’s Checkered Flag Challenge during the American Speed Festival.

Cauley Ferrari displayed cars in the event center and offered rides on track for the Uncork for a Cure event.

Display Group is a preferred vendor and transformed the event for the recent Uncork for a Cure fundraiser.

Park your car at M1 Concourse and watch from the comfort of your front seats. The Annual Cars Under the Stars Fireworks Spectacular presented by Coca-Cola includes live entertainment along with a variety of family activities, food trucks, craft beer, and fireworks!

Itai celebrated this milestone event with close family and friends at our event center and on track with race speed track experiences.

Approximately 125 GMC Motorhome owners – at least 75 motorhomes – from all over the United States and Canada gathered at M1 Concourse, the birthplace of the GMC Motorhome, to celebrate the proclamation of National GMC Motorhome Day.

As our event location, the M1 Concourse proved a more-than-worthy selection for our school’s prom. Bruce, the manager with whom we primarily worked, was incredibly helpful and easy to work with. Likewise, Ali was also accommodating. Those two helped provide suggestions for decor as well as potential vendors, several of which we ultimately hired. During and after the event, the entire staff was helpful, attentive, and overall improved the event’s aura. If you’re searching for a potential alternative venue for your school dance or other function, consider M1 as a worthy candidate.

Banquet

Generally used for meals and sessions involving small group discussions. A five foot round table seats eight people comfortably. A six foot round table seats 10 people comfortably.

Conference and Hollow Square

Perfect for interactive discussions. Imagine a hotel “boardroom” for 10 to 20 people, equipped with full audiovisual capabilities, a writing board, cork board and a flip chart.

E-Shape, U-Shape and T-Shape

These shapes are best for groups of less than 40 with a leader seated at the head of the setup. Audiovisual is usually best set up at the open end of the seating.

Theater

Perfect for large sessions or short lectures. This is a convenient setup to use before breaking into discussion or role-playing groups as the chairs are movable.

Reception

Ideal as a stand-up social function where beverages and light foods are served. Foods can be presented on small buffet tables or by servers.

Schoolroom or Classroom

This is the most desirable setup for medium to large-size lectures. Requires a relatively large room. Tables provide attendees with space for spreading out materials and taking notes.
